Absolute Dakota Alert SBA-4K+ Solar Break Beam With Wireless Chime, Relay Output

The Dakota Alert SBA-4K+ provides a solar-powered wireless break beam sensor pair and receiver with a relay output, allowing it to connect to an alarm, external siren, strobe, or SpotProtect SwitchSpot.  The included wireless receiver has a Form C Relay and 12VDC output that both trigger when the break beam is triggered.

The Dakota Alert BBA-4K-PLUS is a wireless, infrared, solar-powered break beam (photo beam) sensor that mounts quickly and is easy to install since no wiring is required.  The break beam sensor is a point-to-point sensor that is intended to detect people and vehicles, or large animals depending on placement, while preventing the detection of small items like falling leaves or birds. For round-the-clock security, lithium-ion batteries are recharged by solar panels in the daytime.

The sensors can be easily mounted at high enough places to avoid the detection of dogs or other small animals. The sensors will not be activated by any motion outside of the monitored beams so you can protect the exact area you need.  Sensors can be up to 300 feet from each other.

The built-in transmitter sends a wireless signal up to 1 mile or 1.6 KM, when the beams are broken, to the provided wireless receiver.   The receiver will play your choice of 12 different alert tones and an indicator LED will also turn on at the same time.  The receiver simply plugs in to a wall outlet for power.

The included RE-4K-PLUS receiver has two form C relay outputs (normally open and normally closed) and one 12 VDC output. These outputs can be used to connect to external chimes, sirens, strobes, alarms, or other systems.

The sensors also have a standard micro-usb port that can be used to power them for indoor use or for initial charging before installation.  USB cable/charger not included.

This new kit replaces the previous model BBA-4K+ Kit.
